Job Title: Weekend Museum Staff 

Reports To: Executive Director

Pay Rate: $10/Hr 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guide works under the supervision of office staff with the expectation that they are able to work under their own initiative.

• Handles opening and closing the museum (interpretive center and outbuildings) for their shift.

• Sales and customer service duties are required to operate the gift shop, including restocking inventory. 

• Responsible for greeting visitors and taking admissions and gift shop sales.

• Clean and maintain restrooms and other public areas of the museum throughout their shift.

• As a representative of WLM, conducts behavior in line with WLM goals and objectives policies, and mission. Other duties as assigned. 

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

-Excellent communication and customer service skills

-A range of motion and agility for minor cleaning and maintenance as well as light lifting

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday for 2022 Season (June-September)
