Since 1934 the Paul Bunyan Logging Camp Museum and now the Wisconsin Logging Museum have welcomed guests from around Wisconsin and the world. Each year thousands of people come to the city of Eau Claire to visit the camp and learn about the Northwoods they are visiting. About 80% of our visitors travel more than 50 miles to visit us. While the museum staff love to meet guests from around the globe, in light of the pandemic the museum is staying closed until further notice.
We are committed to sharing the history of Wisconsin logging so to best serve our community we have created a 17-minute virtual tour. Until we are able to host groups again we are waiving the fee for this tour.
To date, the museum has lost 91% school tours for the season and is projecting a 74% loss of revenue for the 2020 season. If you are able, please consider a donation to help the museum though the 2020 season.
